WE WANT OUR CHILDREN TO LOVE AND FOLLOW JESUS FOR LIFE!

Our Burden

We believe that children ought to be raised to know and love God. This happens primarily in the home by their parents and family (Deut. 6:4-9). But our church wants to aid in that process through loving and wise teachers and leaders.

Our children’s ministry is not designed to entertain children or to just "keep them out of trouble" so adults can participate in the service. Rather, we want young people to understand who God is, to see what He wants from them, and to learn to follow Jesus for the rest of their lives!

Because these priorities are so important, we have assembled a team of experienced children’s teachers and helpers who work hard to communicate the great truths of Scripture in an age-appropriate and engaging way.

Sunday Ministries

  • Nursery is available at all of our services, for children ages 3 and below (ages 4 and below in the PM service).
  • At 9 AM on Sunday mornings, we offer Sunday school classes for 4 y.o. through 6th grade children.
  • During the 10 AM morning service, we offer a class called Tiny Church for 4–5 y.o. and another class called Junior Church for children in 1st–5th grade. Tiny Church offers an age-appropriate lesson, singing time, and play time. Junior Church includes a time of singing, Scripture reading, collecting an offering, and a Bible lesson. Note: You are always welcome to keep your children with you in the auditorium.

Wednesday Ministry

  • On Wednesday evenings (6:30-8 PM) from September-May, we offer an Awana program for children from 3 y.o. - 6th grade. This interactive, dynamic ministry exists to disciple kids to know God through his Word and respond with a love for Him. We do that through table time (Scripture memory, book work, and sharing/prayer time), games, lessons, and fun theme nights. Check out our Awana page to learn more and to sign your child up!
