Thank you for your interest in serving our church's children, teens, and their parents. Note that service in these ministries is reserved for: 1) members of Life Point; 2) who have attended at least 6 months; 3) who have completed the application process (application form, background check, pastoral approval) and been approved; and 4) who are up-to-date on their worker training.
To apply as a worker, please follow these steps:
1. Read our Child Protection Policy Document:
2. Attend the annual Worker Training Meeting:
- If you were not able to attend our 8/26/26 meeting, you can listen to it here.
3. Fill out the Application Form:
- Adult Worker Application Form
- Teenage Worker Application Form (for teens ages 12-18)
4. Complete the 1.5-hour Sexual Abuse Awareness video course.
- This training (via Ministry Safe) equips staff members and volunteers interacting with minors in youth or student ministry settings. This version includes supplemental Training information to meet the requirements of California Assembly Bill 506 (AB506).
- It will be emailed to prospective workers and must be completed within a 14-day window.
5. Fill out a Background Check.
- Once you have submitted the above application form, we will request a background check for you. You will receive the background check request in your email inbox from “Checkr" within a few days. Please fill it out and submit it.
6. Once you complete these steps, a pastor or ministry director will reach out with the next steps.
