Why we are Fundamental
Life Point Baptist Church is solidly Fundamental. By this we mean we are committed to believing in and defending the fundamentals of the Christian faith. The following are the basic tenants of these fundamentals:

  1. The Bible is God's revealed Word, inerrant and authoritative

  2. The virgin birth and deity of Jesus Christ, the substitutionary atonement, and the bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ

  3. The necessity of opposing religious apostasy and theological liberalism

  4. The necessity of separating from the world (ethically) and from disobedient churches (ecclesiastically)

  5. A literal interpretation of Scripture
